PROGRAM STRUCTURE

WEEK 1

STEPPING INTO YOUR POWER

It's completely normal to experience feelings of worry, uncertainty, and self-doubt prior to your upcoming hike. I've been there!

In this module, you'll learn to better understand yourself through the practice of self-awareness. This is the first step to strengthening your mindful muscle. Why is awareness important?  Because being fully aware and present will allow you to handle challenges better, offering an alternative solution to slipping into a negative way of thinking. ​

WEEK 2

WORKING WITH DIFFICULTIES

I can promise you, challenges and emotional hurdles will arise on trail. In many cases, these situations will be out of your control (weather patterns, fire closures, mosquitos). I want you to be fully equipped to handle these and continue to thrive. In this module, we will explore a new way of working with difficulties: approaching and befriending them. We will learn about the amygdala hijack and how best to respond to difficult moments through the STOP practice. Learning to befriend difficulties on trail will strengthen your resilience to navigate and thrive when faced with unpredictable challenges.

WEEK 3

YOUR RESILIENT MIND

How can you best take care of yourself on trail? The pressure of crushing big miles to achieve your goal. Those moments of continuous challenges. How do you bounce back? In this module, we will learn about the importance of prioritizing your well-being, practicing moments of goodness, and getting clear on our intentions to continue to guide us on trail. This will allow you to develop a tenacity to bounce back after a tough moment and continue to thrive on trail. 

HOW IT WORKS

  3. Opening day (March 11th), you'll receive Module 1 via email.

  4. Go through the content and complete the exercises at your own pace

  5. Repeat for Week 2 and Week 3

  6. Leave with the CONFIDENCE and TOOLS to tackle the trail's emotional and mental hurdles
