When I stepped onto the Pacific Crest Trail, I had zero backpacking experience.

 

I didn’t know how to use half the gear in my pack. But I learned quickly that mindset matters more than any piece of gear you can buy.

What got me through wasn’t ultralight gear or perfect planning — it was learning how to stay grounded when everything felt impossible.
 

How to keep walking when I was lonely, tired, or scared.
 

How to trust myself in the wild.
